Role Description The Boiler Engineer role at Integra Process Dynamics is a part-time, on-site position based in Gingin, WA. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and monitoring of boiler and steam systems that support milling and processing activities, including routine inspections, performance checks, and adjustments to maintain optimal pressure, temperature, and energy use.

The Boiler

Engineer will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on boilers and associated equipment, diagnose faults, coordinate repairs,



and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate logs of operating parameters, supporting commissioning and optimisation activities for new or upgraded systems, and collaborating with process engineers and plant operators to improve reliability, throughput, and energy efficiency. The position also involves participation in safety meetings, adherence to site procedures, and proactive identification of opportunities to reduce downtime and operating costs.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in boiler operation, monitoring, and maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in food, agribusiness, or grain processing.
- Strong understanding of steam systems, combustion principles, pressure vessels, and related mechanical and electrical components, including pumps, valves, controls, and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian standards, safety regulations, and permit-to-work systems for boilers and high-risk plant, with a commitment to protected work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, and operating manuals, and to use diagnostic tools and basic CMMS or maintenance recording systems.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the capacity to troubleshoot process and equipment issues and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement practical solutions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a plant environment, including shift personnel and external contractors.
- Relevant trade qualification or engineering certification (e.g., Boilermaker)
