I'm looking for qualified Boilermakers to join a mechanical contractor working across BlueScope Steel sites, with the majority of work based at Port Kembla on the Blast Furnace 5 and 6 upgrades. This is a great chance for an experienced Boilermaker looking for long-term, ongoing work on a major industrial project.

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel, plate, and pipework as part of the upgrade
- Read and work from engineering drawings and work orders
- Cut, shape, and fit plate and steel sections to specification
- Carry out repairs and modifications to plant structures and equipment
- Work from heights, scaffolds,



and in confined spaces as required
- Complete isolations, permits, and job cards to site procedures
- Work alongside other trades as part of the broader upgrade crew
- Follow all BlueScope site safety, environmental, and quality requirements

Licences/Experience Required:

- Trade qualified Boilermaker
- Relevant licences and tickets (e.g. White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, Rigging/Dogging)
- Own basic tools
- Own PAPR welding shield
- Previous heavy industrial or steel plant experience highly regarded
