MJM Recruit has partnered with a successful, privately owned business employing approximately 55 staff. Following significant growth, they are seeking an experienced Warehouse, Inventory & Asset Controller to take ownership of their warehouse, stock, plant and equipment.

This is more than a traditional Store person role. You will be the important link between the warehouse, field teams, suppliers and worksites, ensuring equipment is accounted for, safe and ready when needed.

What You Will Be Doing

- Receiving, checking, receipting and dispatching goods
- Maintaining accurate inventory and asset records
- Tracking equipment across the warehouse, vehicles and worksites
- Inspecting returned equipment and coordinating repairs or servicing
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with purchasing
- Completing stocktakes and investigating discrepancies
- Monitoring use-by dates and the safe storage of liquids and consumables




- Delivering equipment and products to Melbourne metropolitan worksites
- Maintaining forklift, safety and vehicle-equipment records
- Supporting warehouse compliance, SOPs and emergency drills

About You

You will bring:

- Solid warehousing, inventory and stock-control experience
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with plant, tools or equipment
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence using computer and inventory-management systems
- Accurate record-keeping and stock-reconciliation skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously
- A sound understanding of warehouse safety and compliance
- A current Australian driver’s licence & a current forklift licence
- Experience using simPRO, Hilti ON!Track, Xero or similar systems would be highly regarded.
