Summary: The Floor Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitality services at Kuro Bar & Dining in Sydney CBD. This position is, above all, to assist the General Manager in daily floor activities, maintaining high standards of customer service, and leading the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, in-depth wine knowledge, and a passion for the hospitality industry, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in daily operations and floor management
n
- Oversee floor operations and service standards during shifts
n
- Lead and support the front-of-house team, providing guidance and training as needed
n
- Advise guests on wine selections and pairings across our list
n




- Proactively upsell food and wine items - going beyond order-taking to identify opportunities that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
n
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently
n
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
n
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations
n
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
n

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in fine dining
n
- Robust knowledge of wine and food and beverage service standards
n
- Fluent English
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
n
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
