myCheck Health Medical and Skin Clinic – Woy Woy NSW

We are delighted to be looking for a Practice Nurse to join us at myCheck Health Medical & Skin clinic to provide high quality nursing and support service to our patients. We are a GP practice located in Woy Woy NSW operating 5 days a week. Our clinical team currently consists of 8 full-time general practitioners and a registered nurse.

Position: Full-time, Permanent Part-Time or Casual

Rate: Paid per the Nurses Award dependent on level of experience.

Experience: Experience in GP is preferable, but on job training will be provided for the right candidate.

Must have a current unconditional registration with APHRA

Current immunisations certificate (or willing to complete training)

Current CPR certificate

Current working with children’s check (WWC)

Minimum 1 years’ experience as a registered nurse, enrolled nurse.

Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organizational and time management skills.

Deliver services in a confidential, caring and supportive manner.

Have experience in a fast-paced multiple practitioner workplace.

The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate comprehensive and accurate knowledge in practice nurse.




- Sound process thinking and Multi-tasking abilities within a busy environment.
- Collect and reports information about health.
- Triage of patients.
- Chronic disease management plans and health assessments.
- Stock control and ordering.
- Cold chain management.
- Testing procedures – ECG and Spirometry.
- Wound management and Dressing.
- Immunisations including childhood and Administer vaccinations
- Assisting with minor procedures.
- Maintenance of practice equipment and Equipment sterilization.
- Support to general practitioners and other staff as required.
- Infection Control and surgical equipment sterilization
- Collaborate with the medical team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Offer health education and support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care.
- Performs administrative related to nursing activities.
