We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration & Finance Officer to join our dedicated team.
In this pivotal role, you will provide vital general administrative & finance support to the team plus governance support to both the Chief Executive Officer and the Board, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective compliance. You will be the friendly first point of contact for families and visitors, while also managing Board packs, minutes, registers, and compliance reporting. With responsibilities ranging from office administration and database management through to finance data entry, this role is the backbone that helps our organisation run seamlessly.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception and general office administration support.
- Prepare agendas, Board packs, and accurate minutes.
- Maintain databases and registers with precision and care.
- Support compliance reporting to regulators (ACNC, ASIC, etc.).
- Assist with accommodation bookings, events, and grants administration.
- Undertake finance data entry into MYOB (invoices, receipts, payments).
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer.
What You Bring
- At least 2 years' experience in administration and finance.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; Office 365 desirable).
- Excellent written communication and minute-taking skills.
Board support experience is desirable.
- Experience in database management and general finance data entry (MYOB desirable).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
