The Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics/Yard Coordinator to coordinate the movement of plant, equipment, materials, and deliveries across our Cairns projects and yard. The role ensures resources arrive on site safely and on time, and it includes hands-on operation of plant, equipment, and vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries of materials, plant, and equipment against delivery dockets and purchase orders.
- Plan and schedule deliveries, pick-ups and transfers of plant, equipment and materials between the yard, suppliers and project sites.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for site deliveries in line with site requisitions and delivery schedules.




- Drive company Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicles for deliveries and transfers.
- Operate skid steer, excavator and telehandler for loading, unloading, site set-up and yard work.

About You

- At least 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within a building, construction, timber, hardware or similar industry.
- Current HR class licence.
- Construction induction/white card.
- Licences and tickets for skid steer, excavator, and telehandler, or a willingness to obtain them within an agreed timeframe with Bryant's support.
- Sound understanding of manual handling, load restraint, and protected stacking/storage practices.
- Computer literacy for stock recording, delivery dockets, and email communication.
- Proactive approach and problem-solving attitude, with a willingness to get in and help team/s as required.
- Strong safety awareness and a disciplined approach to manual handling, forklift operation, and driving.
