Retail Sales Assistant / Sleep Health Clinician – Bendigo

CPAP Direct is a retail and clinical leader in the sleep apnoea industry across Australia. We have 20 retail stores and a large e-commerce business and are the go‑to destination for people to research, be diagnosed and treated successfully for sleep‑related conditions.

We have an exciting Full‑Time opportunity for a motivated Retail Sales Assistant / Sleep Health Clinician to join our friendly Bendigo team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with alternating Saturdays, 9:00am – 12:00pm. For every 2 Saturdays worked, you will receive 1 Monday RDO.

What you’ll be doing – Full and comprehensive training is provided!

- Home sleep test setups
- Assisting customers with CPAP purchases – machines, masks, accessories etc.
- Troubleshooting issues with CPAP equipment
- Building rapport and effective relationships with customers
- Patient education and advice on sleep health
- POS use
- Basic reporting, general administration and cleaning duties as required
- Customer service and after‑sales service
- Professional relationship building within the sleep health industry

Here are a few things we think will make you ideal for this role:

- Pharmacy, CPAP, Optometry, Audiology or other healthcare retail experience is preferred, but not essential. Attitude is more important – we are happy and willing to train the right person.
- Previous experience in a busy,



multi‑tasking retail or customer service role
- A strong customer service focus, with empathy, compassion and a drive to deliver the best patient‑centric outcomes
- Thrive under pressure and work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, with the capacity to respond quickly to the needs of our customers
- A quick learner with initiative and tenacity
- Enthusiasm, positivity and a genuine work ethic to “get things done”
- Proven integrity, professionalism and discretion – you’ll be comfortable with sensitive information and will do the right thing, even when no‑one’s watching
