We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our team.
With a workforce of around 100 people and continuing to grow, this is a varied, hands‑on role combining payroll and accounts responsibilities in a busy operational environment. You’ll work closely with our projects and administration teams, as well as supporting our field-based workforce.

This role would suit someone who is experienced, organised, and confident managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Duties will include, but not be limited to
- Processing payroll in Xero, including payroll tax and Workcover administration
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Completing end‑of‑month and end‑of‑quarter reconciliations
- Preparing BAS information and fuel tax credit calculations
- Responding to payroll and accounts queries from across the business
Skills & Experience
- 5 years minimum experience in payroll and accounts work
- Experience with Xero payroll
- Willingness to learn new software
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills
- Exposure to the construction industry an advantage

The Role
This is a full‑time, on‑site position , working 38 hours per week.
The proposed hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm , with some flexibility available.
Salary will be based on experience.
