We're seeking an experienced Business Controller to join our ANZ Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director Australia and functionally to the Head of Regional Controlling Asia, this role is much more than a traditional finance position. You'll act as the financial co-pilot to the Managing Director, helping drive business performance, strategic decision-making, commercial outcomes, and operational excellence across the organisation.

What You will Be Doing

As a trusted business partner, you will:

Partner closely with the Managing Director and Leadership Team to drive profitable growth

Deliver meaningful analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making

Lead forecasting, budgeting, financial planning and performance management processes

Monitor and improve key business KPIs

Provide commercial support across project lifecycles, including costing, margin analysis, forecasting and risk assessment

Drive business controlling excellence and support regional initiatives across Asia

Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation and corporate governance requirements

Manage financial reporting, cash flow, treasury and working capital performance

Partner with external auditors, banks and key stakeholders

Oversee local IT governance and coordination with regional IT teams





Lead and support organisational change, business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You'll be an experienced finance leader who enjoys influencing business outcomes and partnering with senior stakeholders.

You will bring:

CPA or CA qualification

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline

10+ years' experience in Business Controlling, Commercial Finance or FP&A;

Solid understanding of project-based business environments

Experience within a multinational organisation

Advanced SAP and Power BI capability

Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive, energetic and adaptable approach

Proven ability to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
