**National Business Development Manager

Reporting to the Sales Director, this newly created role will focus on developing profitable business opportunities across the Defence, Mining, Rail, Utility and Renewable Energy sectors. You'll build relationships with procurement teams, engineers, consultants and project stakeholders, influencing specifications and converting opportunities into long-term revenue.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a national business development strategy.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of projects and strategic accounts.
- Develop relationships with asset owners, specifiers, consultants, OEMs and procurement teams.
- Identify opportunities early and influence specifications.
- Lead tenders, quotations, vendor registrations and commercial negotiations.
- Work closely with technical, manufacturing and supply chain teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting and market intelligence.

About You

- Proven business development or strategic sales experience within cable, electrical or industrial products.
- Established contacts within Defence, Mining, Rail,



Utility or Renewable Energy sectors.
- Strong commercial skills across tendering, pricing, negotiations and contract management.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to engage credibly with engineering and procurement stakeholders.
- Track record of securing major projects and developing strategic customer relationships.
- Relevant trade, engineering or technical qualification preferred.
