Role Description The Business Development Manager, Grants role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Sydney Area. This role is responsible for identifying and developing grant-related business opportunities, including researching relevant funding programs, building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and managing a pipeline of prospects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with businesses to understand their growth and innovation goals, assessing their eligibility for grant programs, and developing tailored proposals and business cases.

The Business Development

Manager, Grants will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate grant application processes, track outcomes, and optimize service offerings. This role also involves contributing to strategic planning, reporting on performance, and continuously improving processes to support EZGlobal’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in business development or sales, ideally in grants, consulting, or skilled services,



with strong skills in relationship management and opportunity pipeline management.
- Proficiency in researching grant programs and funding schemes, analysing eligibility criteria, and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing proposals, business cases, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate project timelines, and manage multiple client engagements while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Solid understanding of commercial drivers, with skills in basic financial analysis, forecasting, and assessing ROI for grant-funded initiatives.
- Comfort working with CRM and business productivity tools, with an aptitude for learning new systems and leveraging data to inform business development activities.
- Proactive, results-focused mindset with strong organisational skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, public policy, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience); prior experience with Australian government grants or industry funding programs is highly beneficial.
