About the role The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new property listings and expanding the agency's rent roll. This role requires a high-energy sales professional who can cultivate strategic industry partnerships and collaborate with internal sales and property management teams.

Key responsibilities

- Execute consistent daily outbound prospecting activities to identify and secure new business

- Assertively follow up on all incoming leads, database contacts, and market opportunities to maximise conversion rates

- Prepare and deliver professional, high-impact listing presentations and rental appraisals to prospective landlords

- Conduct minimum standards and compliance checks for all new listings

- Proactively build and foster referral networks with external business partners, including Buyer's Agents, Tax Agents, Conveyancers, and Mortgage Brokers

- Maintain seamless relationships with the internal Sales Team and Property Management department to capture and convert internal referral pipelines

- Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of local branding initiatives and promotional activities





- Guide and educate prospective and existing landlords regarding statutory minimum standards and new rental regulations

- Conduct formal exit interviews with lost clients to identify service gaps and maintain a follow-up pipeline for future re-engagement

About you

- Previous BDM, Sales or Property Management experience

- Strong knowledge of Victorian Residential Tenancies legislation

- Natural relationship builder who enjoys meeting new people

- Confident communication and presentation skills

- Proactive and commercially minded approach

- Strong organisation and time management skills

- Current Agents Representative Certificate

- Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
