About the role The Business Intelligence Data Analyst will play an significant role within HSV’s Business Intelligence team, supporting the maintenance, cleansing, quality and publication of key datasets that underpin HSV’s operations and reporting. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Data Lead, you will work across product and pricing data, spend data and master data, ensuring information is accurate, complete, timely and fit for purpose.

Key Accountabilities Include, but not limited to:

- Manage and maintain product and pricing data in accordance with established processes and data standards
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of HSV datasets
- Monitor and cleanse spend data received from external sources, including validation, mapping and alignment to product and pricing data




- Maintain master data and mappings used to align customer and supplier dimensions
- Investigate data anomalies, identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external data providers to resolve data quality and technical issues
- Carry out operational processes in SQL to support reporting to internal customers
- Contribute to data improvement projects, data stewardship, process improvement and automation initiatives

About you

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys working with data and solving problems.

You will bring

- Demonstrated experience in a data administration or data analyst role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Practical knowledge of SQL Server and VBA
- Current hands-on experience developing, maintaining and using Excel macros for data processing and reporting
- Experience identifying, investigating and resolving data anomalies through root cause analysis
- Experience with Power BI is highly desirable
