If you're an experienced Business Services accountant who has reached Supervisor level, this is an opportunity to work with a high-quality client base while having the resources and career opportunities of a national mid-tier firm. The Canberra practice has built a particularly strong position among Canberra’s largest privately owned family businesses. Your clients will typically generate $10–30K in annual fees, with some significantly higher, and will include established businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals across industries including property, construction and technology.

The role

This is a genuine Business Advisory role rather than a position dominated by routine compliance.

You'll manage your own portfolio and work closely with Partners on matters including:

- Tax planning and structuring
- Business growth and strategic advice
- Management accounting and reporting
- Budgeting and cash-flow management
- Restructuring and business improvement
- Succession and other significant business decisions

You'll also review work, mentor junior accountants and contribute to the development of the wider team. The expectation is that you'll understand your clients' businesses, build solid relationships and provide advice that helps them make better decisions.
