About The Role The Business Support Officer sits within the Business Excellence Divisional Business Unit (DBU) and provides high-quality business, administrative and operational support to help the division deliver its priorities effectively. Working across a broad range of activities, you’ll support divisional planning and reporting, governance processes, financial and procurement administration, systems and information management, and priority projects. You’ll also work closely with the General Manager, senior leaders, internal teams and corporate partners to ensure actions, information and processes are accurate, timely and well-coordinated.
This is a diverse role within a high-profile executive environment, offering the opportunity to build strong relationships across the organisation while contributing to the smooth and effective operation of the Business Excellence Division.
A Little More About The Role
- Provide proactive administrative and operational support to the Divisional Business Unit and broader Business Excellence Division.
- Coordinate governance, committee and corporate processes, including actions, approvals, documentation, reporting requirements and key deadlines.
- Support financial and procurement administration and maintain accurate systems, records and information.
- Coordinate inputs to divisional planning and reporting, while supporting priority projects and tracking key actions, milestones and deliverables.

You bring strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build positive working relationships.
What Your Experience Might Look Like
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative and operational support in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting governance, reporting, committees and corporate processes, including coordinating actions, documentation, approvals and deadlines.
- Strong capability using Microsoft 365 and business systems to maintain accurate records and manage information, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
- Experience supporting financial administration, procurement and resource management processes with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills, coupled with initiative and sound judgement to anticipate needs, work independently and support projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
