Full-Time Qualified Butcher – $37/hr + OT | Southern Cross Organic Butchery

About the Role

- Roster: Tuesday - Friday 6am - 4pm Saturday 6am-3pm

- RDOs: Sunday & Monday

- Pay: $37/hour + penalties & overtime (in line with Level 7,



Meat Industry Award)

- Hours: 38 hours + OT

- Flexibility: Occasional full weekend cover required when team members are on leave

What We’re Looking For

- A fully qualified butcher

- Confident with retail butchering, window presentation, and serving customers

- Must be able to work with urgency – we need someone who can keep the window full, complete tasks efficiently, and stay on top of daily jobs without needing reminders
- A strong communicator with outstanding customer service skills

- Reliable and professional – someone who shows up on time and takes pride in their work
- A team player with a long-term mindset — we’re in this for the long haul and hope you are too
