We are a builder with our own cabinet making facility based in Adelaide.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and installing high-quality cabinetry and joinery for residential and/or commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture and assemble kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe and custom cabinetry.

- Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans and specifications.

- Accurately measure, cut, machine and assemble timber, MDF, particleboard, laminates and other materials.

- Operate cabinet-making machinery, power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.

- Install cabinets, benchtops, panels, shelving, doors and associated joinery on site.

- Fit hinges, drawer runners, handles and other cabinet hardware.

- Carry out adjustments and finishing work to achieve a high-quality result.

- Check completed work for accuracy, dimensions, finish and overall quality.

- Coordinate with supervisors, builders, trades and other team members.

- Maintain a clean and safe workshop and work site.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker or Joiner.

- Strong cabinet manufacturing and assembly skills.

- Ability to read and work from plans, drawings and measurements.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Competent use of woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.





- Good understanding of cabinet hardware and installation techniques.

- Ability to undertake accurate measurements and calculations.

- Good problem-solving skills, particularly when completing installations on site.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Good communication and time-management skills.

- Ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining workmanship standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, Cabinet Making, or equivalent trade qualification preferred.

- Relevant cabinet-making/joinery experience will also be considered.

- Current Australian driver's licence preferred.

- White Card required for site-based work.

- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and handling cabinetry and materials.

- CNC or automated cabinet-manufacturing experience would be advantageous.

- Experience with kitchen and custom joinery installation would be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will have a practical approach to problem solving, solid attention to detail and the ability to take a project from drawings through to manufacture, assembly and final installation.
