MCCOLL CABINETMAKERS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and motivated Cabinet Maker to join our team in Raceview, Queensland. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work on residential new builds and renovations, occasional commercial cabinetry and occasional built-in furniture projects.

While our primary focus is finding a Cabinet Maker, a suitably experienced Joiner will also be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working from drawings and specifications to manufacture cabinets and built-in furniture.
- Examining drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications.
- Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, synthetic wood and other engineered wood products.
- Programming and controlling computer-aided design (CAD) and computer numerical control (CNC) machines to mark out, cut and shape components.
- Installing cabinetry for residential new builds and renovations and occasional commercial fit-outs.




- Making bespoke items requiring fine craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Assembling components to form cabinet sections, built-in furniture and completed products.
- Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves and other hardware.
- Preparing cabinets and built-in furniture for the application of painted coatings and finishes.

REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant qualification in Cabinet Making, Joinery, or a related field
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience operating woodworking machinery and tools
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Pay: $80,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Raceview QLD 4305
