Leaf Café & Co is actively recruiting for our Emerald Hills store.
As we head towards Summer, we are hiring for kitchen hands, baristas and cafe all-rounders to join our team.
Barista Position
As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing our customers with an outstanding coffee experience in a fast-paced and friendly café environment.
- Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based coffee beverages to customers
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and the ability to craft a wide range of beverages to a high standard (barista certification desirable)
- Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned to the highest standards
- Assisting with general café duties as required
- Proven experience as a Barista preferred, ideally from a fast-paced café environment (juniors or new baristas welcome to apply also!)
Kitchen Hand Position
- Dishwash and food prep station
- Maintaining high level of cleanliness and organisation in back of house area
- Supporting chefs in food prep and refilling stock for fast service
- Making fresh juice daily
- Please Note - This is a fast paced station
Cafe All Rounder Positions
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience
- Versatile and adaptable to the demands of a busy café
- High regard for cleanliness and organisation - observant to clear dirty tables, refill stock quickly
- Ability to start 6.15am
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
