Your Assignment |

We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join our café kitchen team, starting 30 November. Working alongside a nimble and passionate team of chefs, you'll share responsibility for producing premium dishes for our loyal customers. You'll bring a passion to learn and grow with the business.

- Prepare dishes to our recipes and standards, making sure quality, taste and presentation are spot on. Work with the team to keep dishes moving on time during service.
- Take ownership of your section (e.g. breakfast, grill, larder or pastry), including mise en place, cooking, plating and cleanliness. Keep an eye on stock levels and let the Head Chef or Sous Chef know what needs reordering.
- Check ingredients and dishes regularly for freshness, taste and appearance. Keep your section clean and organised, following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff on recipes, techniques and kitchen processes. Support the team during service to keep things efficient and consistent.
- Work with the culinary team on new dishes,



recipe testing and ideas for seasonal menus and specials. Use customer feedback to keep improving what we serve.
- Follow set recipes, portion sizes and cooking methods for consistency. Stick to kitchen policies, procedures and safety rules, including safe handling of equipment and ingredients.

Your Attributes & Abilities |

- Experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, ideally in a busy café or high-volume kitchen
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and peak seasonal periods
- Integrity, honesty, teamwork and genuine care for others
- Ability to work well with other departments so our customers get the best of the best and keep coming back
- Strong time management, with the initiative and enthusiasm to own your day
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
- A willingness to share ideas, listen to others and help grow the brand into the best food emporium in Australia
