Café Supervisor / Lead Barista – Sacca’s Fine Foods

Sacca’s Fine Foods is a growing family business, renowned for fresh produce and outstanding community service. Our Blackburn store features a kiosk-style café serving quality espresso coffee and café fare to our shoppers and local community. We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Café Supervisor / Lead Barista to run the café day to day.

Role Overview:

This is a hands-on role for an experienced barista who takes pride in every coffee they make. You will run the kiosk on your shifts, keep coffee quality and service consistent, and look after basic rostering and ordering to keep the café stocked and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee to a consistent standard
- Run daily kiosk operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Complete basic rostering for café staff within the labour budget
- Place orders for coffee, milk and café stock, keeping stock levels right and minimising wastage
- Train and guide team members on coffee preparation and service standards
- Keep the kiosk clean, well presented and fully stocked throughout trade




- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and hygiene standards
- Deliver fast, friendly customer service

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience as a skilled barista, with the ability to produce consistently high-quality coffee in a busy setting
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing and latte art
- Experience with basic rostering and stock ordering (supervisory experience highly regarded)
- Availability to work 4 days per week
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Exemplary personal grooming and professional appearance
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
