About the opportunity:

This is a key leadership opportunity to shape and deliver Charter Hall’s NSW capital works program across our Office portfolio. You’ll help protect and enhance the quality of our assets, deliver on our sustainability ambitions and create better experiences for our tenant customers - driving stronger rental outcomes, long-term investment performance and the continued success of our Office strategy.

How you’ll make an impact:

- Lead the NSW capital works program across the Office portfolio, delivering projects on time and on budget while minimising disruption for our tenant customers.
- Shape long-term asset performance through lifecycle planning, CAPEX forecasting and disciplined budget management - helping protect asset quality and unlock enduring value.
- Provide strategic and technical advice that supports confident commercial decisions, reduces risk and strengthens leasing and investment outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships across Asset Management, Property Management, Finance, ESG and external delivery partners to drive consistent, collaborative outcomes.
- Champion safety, sustainability and continuous improvement, lifting standards across the portfolio and helping bring Charter Hall’s broader Office strategy to life.

What you’ll bring to the team

- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills, initiative and an ability to prioritise.




- Project management qualification and/or Building/Engineering/Architecture or other appropriate tertiary qualifications.
- 10-15 years’ industry experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar technical role.
- Demonstrated Contract negotiation experience in the building and construction industry.
- Demonstrate skills in design management of multi-faceted team, leading the delivery of capital works projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence a wide stakeholder group.
- Understanding of the design and delivery construction market and the key players in each tier within NSW.
- Negotiate with and influence others drawing on own experiences.
- Perform in a team environment and demonstrate excellent tenacity and commitment.
- Must be adaptable, resourceful, diplomatic, enthusiastic, have a positive attitude & be a team player.
- Flexible response to changing priorities and skills.
