Bay Explorers Early Learning is a family-owned and run long day Early Childhood Education and Care servicewith a clear vision: #1 IN EVERY REGARD. Our services aresuccessful and friendly and we're seeking a Chef/Cook who will deliver at their very best.

This is a permanent role, creating delicious food that will satisfy the growing needs of our Bay Explorers' children. Bay Explorers uses the freshestproduce and focuses on meeting the nutritional needs of all children in care.

The successful candidate will work in a very supportive setting that is family-oriented, fun-loving and rewarding. Role is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week, above award wages, excellent working conditions.

About You





You will be passionate about nutrition for children and will play a vital role in building strong partnerships with our families. You will be central to our commitment to deliver the highest possible quality service.

Applicants should:

Hold a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, Blue Card and Driver's License

Have 5+ years experience cooking for large groups of people, including menu development

Buffet cooking/bulk cooking experience essential:serving 40-80 children + staff daily

Be able to precisely manage Allergy requirements with food preparation and delivery

Be willing to undertake Anaphylaxis, First Aid and other relevant industry training

Have knowledge of Food Safety Plans and be able to comply with all requirements
