Oncology Recovery Services Inc. is a highly specialized healthcare provider focused on supporting cancer patients through their recovery journey and beyond. Our multidisciplinary team brings extensive experience in oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and related recovery services. We deliver individualized, evidence-based care aimed at improving mobility, function, and quality of life. Team members collaborate closely to provide compassionate, patient-centered treatment in a supportive clinical environment.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Woollahra, NSW. The Physiotherapist will provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from cancer and those with oedematous conditions, using evidence-based physiotherapy techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive physical assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, delivering manual therapy and exercise-based interventions, and educating patients on self-management strategies. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation,



collaborating with other healthcare professionals, monitoring patient progress, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Qualifications

- Current registration as a Physiotherapist (or equivalent) with the relevant regulatory body, with the ability to practice in NSW.
- Experience or strong interest in oncology rehabilitation & lymphedema management.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and multidisciplinary team members.
- Ability to work autonomously in an on-site clinical setting, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and participation in career development activities.
- High level of empathy, professionalism, and respect for people from diverse backgrounds and with varying health needs.
- Previous experience in private practice, hospital, or specialized rehabilitation settings is an advantage.
