The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts is seeking an EL2 Director of Vehicle Standards to lead a 12-member team in developing Australia’s national road vehicle standards. You will guide strategic policy, regulatory analysis, and international engagement to shape safety frameworks.

Responsibilities include setting the program’s priorities, representing Australia in UN safety forums, advising Ministers, and building solid partnerships
