As our business continues to grow, we are now looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team and take a key role in the successful delivery of our projects in Queensland .

The Opportunity n

This is more than your average Site Manager position.

n

We are looking for a highly experienced construction professional who can take full ownership of site operations and project delivery , from commencement through to completion and handover.

n

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining quality and safety standards, monitoring project programs and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, professionally and to the required standards.

n

The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, clients and subcontractors to ensure every project progresses smoothly and achieves the required outcomes.

n

As a Senior Site Manager , you will be expected to lead from the front, identify issues before they become problems and take ownership of the overall performance of your site.

Key Responsibilities n

Your responsibilities will include:

Site Management: Taking full responsibility for day-to-day site operations and ensuring the project is delivered efficiently and professionally.

- n

Project Delivery: Managing construction activities from commencement through to practical completion and final handover.

n
- n

Subcontractor Management: Coordinating and managing subcontractors, trades and suppliers to ensure works are completed to the required standard and program.

n
- n

Program Management: Monitoring the construction program, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.

n
- n

Quality Control:



Maintaining a high level of workmanship and ensuring construction is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant standards.

- n

Health & Safety: Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment and ensuring site safety procedures are followed.

n
- n

Site Coordination: Coordinating trades, deliveries, materials, inspections and site activities to ensure productive workflow.

n
- n

Consultant & Client Liaison: Working professionally with architects, engineers, consultants, building surveyors, clients and other stakeholders.

n
- n

Documentation: Maintaining accurate site records, reports, inspections, variations, defects and other required project documentation.

n
- n

Problem Solving: Identifying construction issues and developing practical solutions quickly and efficiently.

n
- n

Defect Management: Managing quality inspections, defects and rectification works through to completion.

n
- n

Project Handover: Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and prepared for practical completion and final handover.

- n

Team Leadership: Leading site teams and creating a professional, productive and positive site environment.

To be successful in this role, you will be:

Highly Experienced: An experienced Senior Site Manager / Site Manager with a robust background in the construction industry.

Construction Knowledge: You have extensive knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, materials, subcontractor coordination and site management.

A Strong Leader: You can confidently lead trades, subcontractors and site personnel while maintaining professional relationships.

Organised: You have excellent time management and organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Licensed: You hold a valid Australian driver's licence and the relevant Queensland construction/site qualifications and tickets required for the role.
