We are working with a highly regarded Australian law firm that is continuing to grow its Corporate & Commercial practice and is seeking a talented Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join their team.

The Opportunity n

Working closely with an experienced Partner, you will be involved in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:

- Mergers & acquisitions (M&A;), including buy-side and sell-side transactions
n
- Listed company advisory and corporate governance matters
n
- Complex commercial contracts and strategic advisory work
n
- Joint ventures, investments and corporate restructures
n
- Advising significant private businesses, ASX-listed companies and international organisations

You will work directly with Partners and have the opportunity to take ownership of transactions, utilising your strong drafting skills and commercial judgement.

About You n

We are seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel-level lawyer who has:

n

- Robust experience within a leading Corporate & Commercial practice
n
- Exposure to M&A; and complex commercial transactions
n
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
n
- The confidence to manage matters and work closely with Partners and clients
n
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to operate autonomously
n

n

This role would suit a lawyer who enjoys working on sophisticated matters while remaining closely connected to clients and senior practitioners.
