HPC Operations Engineer – $400K+ | Global Trading Firm n

Join a high-performing global proprietary trading firm where cutting-edge technology drives success. We’re looking for an experienced HPC Operations Engineer to maintain, optimise, and support our Linux-based high-performance computing (HPC) environments that power advanced quantitative research and low-latency trading systems.

What You’ll Do n

n
- Manage and support large-scale HPC clusters, storage, and networking infrastructure.
n
- Maintain and optimise Lustre/GPFS parallel filesystems, Slurm/Grid Engine schedulers, and RDMA fabrics.
n
- Diagnose and resolve complex operational issues in mission-critical environments.
n
- Automate processes with tools like Ansible,



SaltStack, and scripting in Python, Go, or C.
n
- Collaborate closely with research and trading teams to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
n

What We’re Looking For nn
- Strong Linux systems administration experience, preferably in HPC or similar environments.
n
- Knowledge of HPC technologies (parallel filesystems, batch schedulers, high-performance networking).
n
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language.
n
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
