What you'll actually work on n

You’ll be developing software that connects different technologies and systems, including:

n

n
- Building applications using Python, JavaScript and/or TypeScript
n
- Developing with Node.js
n
- Building REST APIs and third-party integrations
n
- Developing user interfaces with React or Svelte
n
- Working with SQL and databases
n
- Using Git and modern development practices
n
- Troubleshooting software and system integration issues
n
- Working with hardware and technology systems where software meets the physical world
n
- Collaborating with engineers and technical specialists to solve problems
n

n

This is a role where you’ll be encouraged to understand the whole system , not just write code in isolation.

What we're looking for n

We're not looking for someone who already knows everything.

n

We're looking for a developer with solid fundamentals who is curious, technically minded and keen to learn .

n

You’ll ideally bring:

n

n




- 1–3 years' commercial software development experience, or strong graduate-level/project experience
n
- Strong Python skills
n
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript capability
n
- Exposure to Node.js
n
- Experience with REST APIs and integrations
n
- Experience with React or Svelte
n
- Understanding of HTML and CSS
n
- Git/version control experience
n
- Basic SQL and database knowledge
n
- Robust problem-solving skills
n
- A genuine interest in learning new technologies
n

The technology you can learn n

You don't need an AV background.

n

Experience with any of these is a bonus:

IoT | Automation | Embedded Systems | Hardware/Software Integration | Networking | Control Systems | AV | Q-SYS | Crestron | Lua | Dante

If you've come from IoT, automation, robotics, embedded systems or another hands-on technology environment , we'd particularly like to hear from you.
