This role leads the development and design of information solutions within Health Information that enhance efficiencies, reduce costs, improve data quality, and advance the Health Information agenda.

The Role n

An opportunity has become available for an Innovation Lead (Health Information) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will n

n
- Lead the development and design of health information solutions that improve efficiencies, reduce costs and support activity-based funding initiatives
n
- Provide high quality analysis of complex health care data to support optimisation and automation opportunities
n
- Develop and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track benefits and cost savings of each initiative
n
- Maintain expertise, provide specialist advice and act as a consultant in the area of health information and data management
n

About you n

To be successful in this position you will require:

n

n
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded:
n
- Experience with dashboard & app design, automation tools and data analysis techniques.
n
- Experience with clinical and patient administration systems such as Hospital Based Clinical Information System (HBCIS), and the integrated Medical Record.
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $144,315 - $154,879 per annum
