About the Business n

Our client is a fast-growing, PE-backed business headquartered in Newcastle. As the business continues to scale, they are looking for a commercially minded finance professional to strengthen reporting, analysis and decision-making across the organisation.

About the Role n

This is a newly created role with genuine scope to make an impact. You will partner with senior leaders and operational teams to turn financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- n

Analyse performance across entities, regions, channels, customers and products to identify trends, risks and opportunities

n
- n

Build and automate reporting across revenue, margin, costs, cash flow and profitability

n
- n

Provide financial analysis to support pricing, tenders, contracts,



investments and other commercial decisions

n
- n

Partner with Sales, Supply Chain and other teams to improve commercial outcomes

n
- n

Monitor customer and contract profitability and identify margin leakage and improvement opportunities

n
- n

Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor FX exposures and hedging activity

n
- n

Develop dashboards and management reporting that provide timely, actionable insights

n
- n

Identify opportunities to automate and simplify finance and broader business processes

n

About You n

You will be a CA or CPA qualified finance professional with solid commercial accounting experience and a genuine interest in using data to drive better business decisions.

n

You will bring:

n

n
- n

Strong financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis and cash flow skills

n
- n

Experience with a large ERP such as SAP, Pronto, Oracle or similar

n
- n

Advanced Excel capability

n
- n

A commercially curious, hands-on approach and confidence working in a scaling environment

n
- n

Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities

n
