An opportunity is available for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a strong and consistent pipeline of work across Queensland.

n

The business delivers projects across healthcare, education, commercial office, government, hospitality, retail and industrial , with significant experience delivering complex projects within live operating environments .

n

Tendering approximately $200M of work annually across Queensland , the business has built a strong reputation through repeat clients, negotiated opportunities and long-term relationships.

The Role n

Working as part of an experienced estimating team, you will take ownership of tenders from initial review through to submission and handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading complex and high-value tenders
n
- Preparing detailed cost plans, estimates and BOQs
n
- Pricing projects generally ranging from $500K–$20M
n
- Managing Lump Sum, D&C; and ECI tender processes
n
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and consultant documentation
n
- Identifying scope gaps, commercial risks and opportunities
n
- Managing subcontractor pricing and trade coverage
n
- Providing buildability and value engineering input
n
- Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
n
- Supporting tender presentations, negotiations and project handovers
n




- Mentoring and supporting junior estimators
n

About You n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- 5+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction
n
- Strong experience across commercial fit-out and refurbishment
n
- Demonstrated Design & Construct estimating experience
n
- Exposure to ECI and negotiated tenders highly regarded
n
- Experience across healthcare, education, commercial, government, hospitality or retail projects
n
- Strong knowledge of the Brisbane subcontractor and trade market
n
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess tender risk
n
- Experience using Buildsoft or similar estimating software
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
n
