Crane Operator / Rigger – $45–$50/hr | Sunshine Coast

Sunstate Lift n Shift is a locally owned and operated crane hire business servicing the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and surrounding areas.

We're looking for an experienced Crane Operator / Rigger to join our team.

This is a Monday–Friday position , initially offered on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into full-time employment for the right person .

Occasional Saturday Shifts are available and offered on a 'who wants it' basis.

The Role

This is a hands‑on position where you'll be doing both crane operation and rigging/dogging , depending on the job and the crew on the day.

Our fleet currently includes:

- All Terrain Slew Crane

- Pick & Carry Crane

- 2 x Knuckleboom Cranes

Experience operating the above equipment is highly regarded. Training will be provided on our knuckleboom cranes , so you don't need to have previous knuckleboom experience to apply.

You'll be working across a variety of crane hire, lifting and rigging jobs throughout the Sunshine Coast and Noosa region .

What We're Looking For

We're after someone who is:

- Experienced in crane operations and rigging

- Safety-focused and takes pride in doing the job properly

- Reliable and punctual





- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team

- Able to communicate well with customers, site personnel and the crew

- Willing to get involved and do what is required to get the job done safely and efficiently

Minimum Requirements

- C1 Crane High Risk Work Licence

- RB High Risk Work Licence

- HR Driver Licence

- White Card

- Relevant experience in crane operations and rigging/dogging

- Current and unrestricted Australian work rights

Additional tickets, licences and experience will be highly regarded.

What We Offer

- $45–$50 per hour , depending on experience
