Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is a private, well-funded company that acquired the world renown Ballarat Gold mine in 2024 and has since invested approximately $125m into capital and growth of the project, significantly improving development and production at the same time. Mining is within what was historically the third highest Gold producing area in Australia (up until 1990) and consistently delivers approximately 30,000 to 40,000 ounces per annum with increased exploration rapidly growing potential for up to 60,000 to 80,000 ounces per annum.

Role:

Ballarat Gold Mine is currently seeking a casual Cleaner to join our team.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to deliver high-quality cleaning and laundry services in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, in accordance with all BGM policies and procedures. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, comfortable, and well-presented environment across the site, contributing to the wellbeing and satisfaction of all personnel.

As a hands-on team member, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with a diverse range of people across multiple disciplines. You will be a collaborative and proactive team player who takes pride in maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional service.





The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

- Commercial cleaning experience
- Sound manual handling practices
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to work in a team
- Valuable knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets

You will also need to demonstrate a high regard for safety, effective communication skills and a capacity for handling multiple tasks in a dynamic production environment.

Duties:

- Prepare & process laundry for company & contract staff.
- Return laundered clothing to numbered hooks.
- Clean and maintain all offices, corridors, training, muster rooms and all other workspaces within the administration area as per the schedule.
- Clean and maintain changerooms, shower areas, locker rooms as per the schedule.
- Clean and maintain all toilets and bathrooms as per the schedule.
- Clean and maintain all kitchen areas as per the schedule.
- Assist with rental property cleaning, as/when directed.

Scheduled Cleaning 3 monthly/6 monthly/12 monthly as scheduled
