About the role

Our Front Office / Guest Services team is responsible for both the hotel operations and reservations for the entire Mandoon Estate, making this a varied and interesting role. This is a casual position, with shifts generally ranging from 2–6 shifts per fortnight. There are no late-night shifts. Our Front Office operates during the day, with opening hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming guests and providing a warm, professional first impression.
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Handling guest enquiries in person, by phone and via email.
- Managing hotel and estate reservations and assisting guests with their bookings.
- Providing information about Maya Maya, Mandoon Estate and the Swan Valley.
- Responding to guest requests and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Processing payments, billing and general reception administration.
- Assisting with group bookings, corporate events, weddings and conferences.
- Working closely with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and service across the Front Office.

About you

- Previous experience in a minimum 4-star hotel and/or Front Office/Reception environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Confidence working independently and making decisions when required.




- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A professional and friendly manner.
- The ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
- Good computer and administration skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- The ability to work collaboratively and support the wider team.
- Experience with Guest Centrix/CMS is advantageous but not essential.
