Tuncurry Beach Motel is looking for reliable, hardworking and friendly Housekeeping Attendants to join our team.
This is a excellent opportunity for someone looking for daytime work around school drop-off and pick-up, with the prospect for regular and consistent shifts.
About the Role
Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests.
You will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms
- Making beds and changing linen
- Cleaning bathrooms and restocking amenities
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Maintaining clean and presentable common areas
- Working efficiently to meet room turnaround times
- Reporting maintenance issues or damaged items
- Working as part of a team to maintain a high standard
- Providing friendly guest interactions, including a smile and simple greeting when passing guests
About You We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Efficient and organised with excellent attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable and welcoming
- A good communicator and team player
- Comfortable working independently
- Proud of their work and has a strong work ethic
- Available Monday to Sunday when required
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. We are happy to train the right person with the right attitude.
The Hours
This is a casual position, with shifts available Monday to Sunday, depending on motel occupancy and operational requirements.
For the right person, there is an opportunity to build regular and consistent shifts. The number of days you can be rostered will depend on your availability, reliability and demonstrated work ethic.
We value dependable team members and aim to provide stability and ongoing shifts where possible.
