About the role

This is the role where you get to be the person who finds the right gift. From a grandparent who has no idea what a five year old is into, to a parent hunting for something to keep the kids busy on a long car trip, to a family looking for that perfect birthday party present. You're the one who sorts them out, and it's more fun than it sounds. You don't need to know our range on day one. We'll teach you and have fun bringing out the kid in you all over again!

Key responsibilities

- Looking after our customers and helping them find the right thing

- Asking the right questions, showing how things work, and making a recommendation you'd stand behind

- Getting to know our range, what's good for what age, what's popular right now, and what to suggest when the obvious choice is out of stock

- Gift wrapping presents

- Keeping the store looking good with shelves full and ticketed, displays tidy, and the floor safe for kids

- Getting deliveries out, unpacking stock, checking it in, and getting it onto the shelf

- Pitching in with whatever the shift needs, alongside your Store Manager

About you

- You like people, and you don't mind being busy





- You'd rather find something useful to do than stand around waiting to be asked

- You get something out of sending a customer off happy, especially when they came in with no idea what they wanted

- You turn up when you said you would, and you tell us early if something's come up

- Warm and friendly, and you enjoy dealing with kids and their grown-ups

- Happy on your feet and comfortable in a busy store

- Reliable, honest and careful with cash and procedures

- Willing to learn a big range of products

- Available across a retail roster including weekends and school holidays
