Presbyterian Ladies' College (PLC) Melbourne is a leading ELC-Year 12 Christian independent school offering both the VCE and International Baccalaureate. PLC has an outstanding academic tradition, an international focus and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs focusing on encouraging leadership, service and life-long personal development and learning.

The Role The PLC Shop offers school uniforms, school bags, accessories, stationery, and crested goods for current and prospective students and staff.

The Casual PLC Shop Assistant supports the running of the PLC Shop and fulfils an important ambassador role for the College, often being the first point of contact for new families. The role has a strong customer focus and has responsibility for handling the register, general sales, stock control, fulfilling online orders, and responding to queries.

The PLC Shop is open Monday to Friday, five days per week during peak periods, and three days per week during non-peak periods. Some Saturday trading occurs in peak periods.

We are particularly interested in candidates with positive availability during our busy November to February period, along with the flexibility to provide ad hoc support throughout the year as needed.

You have experience in a similar customer service or retail position, with the ability to relate positively to people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.

You are calm, patient, and friendly in your interactions with others. You enjoy being part of a team where everyone contributes in a proactive manner and shares a "can do" attitude.

Be a positive ambassador for PLC, reflecting our values in interactions with students, families and the wider community.
