We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to help keep Waverley’s public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming!

About the Role:

- Afternoon shifts starting after 11:30 am minimum 4-hour shifts
- Shifts vary based on weather
- Must be available weekdays, weekends & Public Holidays
- Maintain and clean parks, beaches & footpaths
- To perform street cleaning duties, emptying and replacing of bins, clean up collection and weeding around Council’s beaches, streets and footpaths to ensure safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing spaces for the community.
- Safely operate necessary plant and equipment, such as mechanical bin lifters, backpack blowers and high-pressure cleaners to achieve job objectives.
- Maintain an efficient and courteous image of Council.
- Any other duties that may be reasonably determined from time to time as directed by the Team Leader or Supervisor

What You Get:

- Salary as per Local Government (State) Award 2023 – Junior Rates
- 50% penalty on Saturdays | 100% on Sundays
