The Transition to Acute Medicine Program (TAMP) offers a structured, supportive pathway across Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, and General Medicine —helping you develop a broad, adaptable clinical foundation.

Acute medicine is fast-paced, dynamic, and highly rewarding —strengthening your assessment skills, clinical decision-making, and ability to manage complex patients while working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes.

Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and targeted education, you’ll grow into a confident clinician capable of managing acute and chronic health conditions.

- Rotations across five acute medicine specialties
- Structured support from Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs), and senior clinicians
- Four targeted education days led by specialty CNCs, with guest facilitators, focusing on high-impact clinical skills and specialty knowledge

About You





- Current AHPRA registration.
- Current working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge to strengthen team capability.
- Commitment to teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Dedicated to delivering high-quality care with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- NSW Drivers License and ability to travel (essential requirement for Community Mental Health and Community Nursing)
