About the role

At A2B Australia, we're transforming the way Australians move through our brands including 13cabs. We're looking for a commercially minded Financial Analyst to help drive business performance through data‑led insights, forecasting and strategic analysis.

As part of our Finance team and reporting to the FP&A; Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting and analysis activities across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and proactive finance professional who enjoys transforming data into meaningful insights that influence decision‑making and support organisational growth.

What You'll Be Doing

- Support the monthly rolling forecast and annual budgeting process, helping establish accurate financial and operational targets
- Assist in preparing monthly management reporting, including Board, CEO and Business Unit reporting with variance analysis and commentary
- Contribute to the development of the five‑year long‑term planning model
- Prepare weekly operational performance dashboards and reporting
- Deliver financial and operational modelling, including sensitivity and scenario analysis to support business decision‑making
- Support month‑end activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives across finance and reporting activities
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support as required

About You

You're a commercially aware and analytically strong finance professional who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and using data to drive better business outcomes.

You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA or CPA qualification
- Minimum three years' FP&A; experience within multinational organisations, ASX‑listed businesses or similarly structured environments
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis capability
- Experience working with large datasets and identifying key business drivers
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
- Experience using BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Datarails, Adaptive Insights or similar platforms
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability

Role Overview

An prospect to join a growing commercial finance function at a time of significant development. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leaders, turning complex information into meaningful commercial insights while helping to improve the way finance supports the broader organisation.

Responsibilities

- Analyse complex financial and operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, performance drivers and opportunities for improvement
- Translate analysis into practical recommendations that assist operational leaders with decision‑making and performance management.




- Prepare monthly management reporting and contribute to the development of comprehensive Board and Executive reporting packs.
- Develop meaningful variance analysis and commentary, ensuring financial results are clearly explained to senior stakeholders.
- Partner with analytics and systems specialists to develop dashboards and improve the use of available business intelligence.
- Provide ad hoc commercial analysis and financial insight in response to emerging business requirements

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will bring experience across financial analysis or management accounting within a medium‑to‑large or complex organisation. They will be comfortable working with substantial datasets and will have the ability to investigate the information, recognise patterns and convert analysis into commercially useful conclusions. CA or CPA qualifications will be viewed favourably, although they are not essential and candidates currently undertaking their studies will also be considered.

This position will suit someone who is naturally curious, self‑directed and takes genuine ownership of their output. Strong MS Excel capability is essential, while experience with Power BI and Salesforce or a comparable CRM/data platform will be highly regarded.

Hybrid working is available on a 3 days per week office basis and 2 days per week from home.
