What you'll do

As the AI Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in leading the digital enablement of the Queensland Health system by providing strategic enterprise architecture leadership, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI), advanced data and analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. You will provide high-level specialist advice to senior executives, project teams, clinical and business stakeholders on complex digital investments, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, strategic priorities and governance requirements. You will contribute to the development of enterprise architecture strategies, policies, standards, roadmaps and investment plans, while preparing briefs, reports and submissions that inform critical decision-making. As a subject matter expert in AI, you will lead engagement across the organisation to identify opportunities for AI-enabled solutions, guiding their design, integration, governance and adoption. You will also research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry practices, ensuring Queensland Health's architecture approach remains contemporary, innovative and aligned with the organisation's long-term strategic direction.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

- Proven experience in directing, creating to and reviewing architectural strategies, mandated principles (standards) and roadmaps that meet the strategic requirements of the health system. Demonstrated ability in ensuring compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities and technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards and practices (SFIA Skill: STPL - Enterprise architecture level 7)
- Takes responsibility for provision of significant specialist advice and recommendations based on expertise and experience. While focused on enterprise architecture, this advice may cover a wide range of strategic business issues. (SFIA Skill: CNSL – Consultancy level 7) (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
