About the role:

Our design team sits at the heart of our project delivery capability and plays a pivotal role in the ongoing success and growth of the business.

Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be a key contributor within the team, with responsibilities including:

- Develop detailed electrical design and drawing packages for concept, tender, detailed design, construction, installation and commissioning phases.
- Interpret engineering calculations, specifications and design inputs to produce accurate, fit-for-purpose electrical designs.
- Take ownership of design deliverables, ensuring quality, consistency and compliance with project and industry standards.
- Deliver drawing packages in line with project requirements, budgets, schedules and client expectations.
- Review and incorporate multidisciplinary design inputs while proactively identifying and resolving design clashes and technical issues.
- Support design reviews and contribute practical design solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and maintain accurate as-built documentation to support ongoing operation and maintenance of plant assets.
- Work effectively within established project delivery systems and processes to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, contributing to the growth and capability of the Digital Design team.

- 8+ years of experience in the same/similar role.
- Ideally electrical trade qualifications are desirable or course work completed inelectrical drafting.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering high quality projects.
- Solid experience using AutoCAD Electrical, Volt, Bluebeam and MSTools.
- Working industry knowledge from; Water, Rail, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical or FMCG would be advantageous but non-essential.
- Must have an expert eye for detail and time management skills.
- Must be a self motivated, resourceful person, able to take direction and be guided byothers
