Medix Health Richmond is seeking a dedicated full time GP to join their clinical team.

- The practice is located in a Distribution Priority Area (DPA) so overseas trained doctors will be able to get 19AB exemption during 10 year moratorium.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive primary medical care to individuals and families across the community.
- Conduct chronic disease management, preventative health screenings, and early interventions.
- Perform minor clinical procedures and coordinate patient care plans with allied health staff.
- Maintain accurate, highly confidential, and timely electronic patient health records.




- Collaborate effectively with practice nurses, administrative staff, and management.

Essential Criteria

- Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRRM (FRACGP / FACRRM). Doctors without Fellowship may be considered for Pre Fellowship Program (PFP) for up to 2 years as practice is located in Distribution Priority Area.
- Current, unrestricted Specialist Registration with AHPRA preferred however application may be considered for medical practitioners holding general registration on eligible to get specialist registration under expedited pathway.
- Professional indemnity insurance and eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.
- Clear, professional, and empathetic communication skills with patients and staff.
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to community medicine.
