Exciting ongoing contracting opportunity for an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to work with a successful, friendly and dedicated provider in the Gold Coast region.

Contract opportunity working with clients who have sustained a workplace injury – QLD Workers Compensation

Competitive fee for service rates of $120 - $130 per hour

Ongoing workflow and no permanent staff, offering security to contract staff

Established NSW / QLD service with a contractor-only model (no permanent staff) – work alongside some of the country’s top Consultants

This successful rehabilitation provider is seeking a contracted Rehabilitation Consultant (EP / Physio / OT) to take on a varied workplace rehabilitation caseload within the Workcover QLD scheme. In your role, you will be working collaboratively with your client to achieve return to health and work outcomes in a safe and timely manner. This role is highly flexible and autonomous – you will be working alongside a team of highly skilled and professional contractors.

This contracting opportunity is open to experienced and confident professionals with a robust desire to assist their clients in achieving positive outcomes – return to health and work. You will have excellent rapport building skills and be confident in conducting assessments and case managing your clients.

You will be responsible for the following:



n

n
- Completing assessments – Worksite assessments, Functional Capacity assessments
n
- Return to work case management of your clients
n
- Liaison with key stakeholders.
n
- Working closely with a solid employment services division.
n
- Completion of high-level written reporting.
n

Requirements: nn
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Occupational Therapy (with relevant registration with AHRPA or ESSA).
n
- Previous occupational rehabilitation experience– minimum of 3 years
n
- Recent experience with QLD Workers Compensation cases
n
- The ability to work effectively on an independent basis
n
- Positive and client-centred professional with great communication skills in a remote setting
n
- Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN) & Professional Indemnity insurance - or willingness to gain.
n
