Our Client n

Our client is an established Australian-owned stockfeed manufacturer based in Western Sydney. The business formulates, manufactures and distributes bulk and packaged feeds for a wide range of livestock, producing approximately 2,500 to 3,000 tonnes each month. Continued growth in packaged feed is creating an attractive opportunity for an experienced operational leader.

The Role n

Reporting to senior management and working closely with the Production Manager, this position will oversee the broader operation beyond day-to-day production. You will coordinate suppliers, logistics, administration, people, quality systems and improvement projects while helping prepare the business for its next stage of growth.

- Manage relationships with grain agents and other ingredient suppliers.

- Oversee raw-material deliveries, finished-feed dispatch and site logistics.

- Lead two administration staff and support effective recruitment and performance management.
n
- Set meaningful KPIs and drive accountability, efficiency and continuous improvement.
n
- Work closely with the consulting nutritionist on formulations and operational requirements.
n
- Plan and deliver mill upgrades, capital projects and quality-system improvements, including SFMCA accreditation.

About You nn
- Proven operational leadership experience in stockfeed, grain, food, feed or a related manufacturing environment.
n
- Commercial confidence dealing with suppliers, logistics providers and technical advisers.
n
- Strong people leadership, planning, problem-solving and performance-management skills.
n
- Experience with quality systems, capital projects and operational improvement.
n
- Practical, visible and hands-on, with the maturity to lead across an established family business.
n
