Chef – Itahlia Restaurant

Itahlia Restaurant in Sunbury is looking for a casual Chef to join our friendly and professional kitchen team.

We are passionate about Italian food and take pride in delivering fresh, quality dishes and a great dining experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy team environment and takes pride in their work.

The Role

- Prepare and cook Italian dishes, pizzas, pastas and other menu items
- Assist with food preparation, kitchen organisation and daily service
- Follow recipes, menus and food safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Keep the kitchen clean and organised
- Assist with functions, events and special bookings




- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

About You
- 1–2 years' experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Experience with Italian cuisine is an advantage
- Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Available for evenings and weekends

Additional shifts may be available depending on bookings, functions and events. Job Ready and/or future sponsorship may available

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
