About the role

Envy Corporation Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Chef to join our kitchen team at The Rabbit Hole Cafe in Seven Hills, Brisbane.

This is a full time position working 38 hours per week within our established cafe kitchen team.

Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking menu items to established recipes and standards
- Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
- Managing food preparation and service during busy periods
- Monitoring stock levels, food storage and stock rotation
- Assisting with ordering and stock control
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Minimising food wastage and supporting efficient kitchen operations
- Working collaboratively with kitchen and front of house team members
- Assisting with training and supporting junior kitchen team members

What we're looking for

- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications




- At least 1 year of relevant experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required
