We are a busy, friendly local restaurant focused on fresh food and great service; we are open Monday - Saturday from 5.30 pm. We pride ourselves on a supportive team environment and a excellent work-life balance. Located in the beautiful Woombye.
The Role
We are looking for a long term experienced, reliable Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team for approx. 20 hours per week. You will be cooking service orders and keeping the kitchen clean and safe.
- Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday - Saturday, generally with no late nights).
- Type: Casual (competitive hourly rate based on experience)
- $35 - $40 including penalty rates (NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS).
- Location: Woombye
Key Responsibilities
- Cook meals to high standards during service.
- Order stock daily.
- Follow kitchen cleaning and safety rules.
- Work well with other team members in a fast-paced setting.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a cook or chef.
- Food safety knowledge.
- Reliable, clean, and organized work habits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
